The Marta Herford is a venue for the Arts, Architecture and furniture in the centre of Eastern Westphalia: Designed by the internationally renowned architect Frank O. Gehry and under the artistic Management of Jan Hoet, a successful Museum Director and Manager of the Documenta, this is the ideal stage for the 3D Symposium 2005. The spectacular architecture and the creative environment will promote the dialogue between design and technology. There can hardly be any better symbol of the benefits which are offered here to the "third dimension" than the Marta Herford, which due to its artistic concept has for quite some time been the focus of international attention.
