3d-symposium '05
the future of membrane pressing
deutsch english
topic 2005 All fields of technology have played their part in the tremendously fast development of 3D lamination. Substrates, adhesives, coating materials and processing technology, all played ideal complementary parts and had their share in the success of this process which is no longer in its infancy.
But what is the actual situation?
Can we only look back upon the success of this technology?
What are the factors slowing down the lightning speed at which it once grew?
What is preventing the ideas from flowing as freely as they once did - and how can this be overcome?

The first symposium was already held in 1992. With an average attendance of over 300 participants of the subsequent meetings, it continued to be an established focal point for the industry through the years 1996 - 2000. The subjects of this 2005 symposium will focus on actual problems within the larger context of trends in design, technology and economy. The presentations will be held in blocks covering manufacturing technology and applications, supported by illustrations on how to implement methods of getting over a standstill in R & D. One of the highlights will be the factor design.

The symposium offers a wide platform for an exchange of ideas for the industry. The trade exhibition presents leading companies from the sectors adhesives, foil, presses and application technology.

Two evening events complete this programme with festive entertainment and will give everybody an opportunity for a personal and intensive exchange of ideas and experience.
